About Our Bed and Breakfast at the Haddie Pierce House
In addition to being the perfect place for quiet getaways, Blue Oaks Bed and Breakfast is a “green” inn that is ideal for business travelers, for government and military personnel visiting the Quonset Point Air Naval Station or the Naval War College in Newport, and for visitors to the nearby University of Rhode Island (URI) Bay Campus. Perched on the corner of Boston Neck Road and Beach Street, Blue Oaks Bed and Breakfast is just a short walk to historic Wickford to the north and the beach to the east. We also provide complimentary parking on the grounds for our guests so you can easily take advantage of everything the area has to offer.
Blue Oaks Bed and Breakfast is in a historic Victorian house constructed in 1906 by Ms. Haddie Pierce. While maintaining the structural integrity of this grand house, we have updated the interior decor to make it a comfortable, peaceful, and memorable place for you to enjoy during your stay.
We are committed to protecting the health and safety of our guests, community, and earth. We encourage you to use the recycle bin on the front porch for cans, bottles, and plastic, and you can leave other recyclables in your room as we participate in our town’s recycling program. We are also a member of Project Planet, a lodging industry program aimed at reducing water and detergent usage through linen and towel reuse. Just hang your towels if you want to reuse them or put them on the floor, and we’ll refresh them.
Above all, we welcome everyone to our beautiful Blue Oaks Bed and Breakfast!
